
I don’t know what it’s like where you live, but the past few days here in Virginia have been horrible. The sun hasn’t come out in three days, it’s rainy, and it’s ridiculously cloudy. And if you know anything about me, you know I hate this kind of weather — not to mention that next month is JUNE and it’s currently 55 degrees outside. Why??
But to counteract my current dissatisfaction with the weather, I thought I would write out some things to be grateful for/some of the things that make me the happiest. After all, what’s the point in focusing on the bad when there’s so many good things in our lives?

- Planning fun summer activities with friends I haven’t seen in a while
- Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights at church
- Watching friends from my old ballet studio perform every year

- Reading books, poems, and short stories written by my INCREDIBLY talented friends in YWW
- Editing people’s writing and seeing their vision to make their story the best it can be
